Obsessive Compulsive Disorders

We tend to laugh at Obsessive Compulsive Disorders if we have never known anyone with one or had one ourselves.

We think of Jack Nicholson in ‘As Good as it Gets’, jumping over cracks on pavements, switching lights off and on multiple times, having rituals when we walk in and out of rooms etc.

For the person and their loved ones OCDs are no laughing matter. OCDs tend to start off as quirks and just get worse.

They can really interfere with your family life and social life and literally drive you crazy if you can’t act out on your OCD.

They tend to be passed on to your children, not because of genetics but because of learned behaviours.

They can manifest so much that people compulsively cleaning their homes, or their hands, or themselves or in severe cases they are afraid to leave their homes.

VCDT effectively treats OCDs and truly makes them a thing of the past.

Moreover, she was caring enough to give me tools that will keep these feelings and thoughts from returning. I recommend Angela to anyone who has problems or is experiencing something difficult. Angela will be able to help you to make the changes you want in your life.”
